Cecilia Reeve b.1996 is a painter and animator based in London, she moves freely between commissioned work and self led projects. Fascinated by ‘Magical Realism’ and inspired by dreams, mythologies and memories Cecilia currently works in gouache paint and hand drawn, traditional animation. Working at the intersection of these two practices her work captures the ethereal world of emotion; through intimate glimpses of these other worlds she creates feelings of longing, solitude and peace.

Cecilia completed her foundation at Falmouth university and studied Illustration (BA) at the University of Brighton, graduating in 2018. Cecilia has sold work to  private collectors and institutions such as ‘Soho house’. Since 2020 Cecilia has made several collections for Partnership Editions, her work has been featured in ‘Its Nice That’, Stylist online and The Evening Standard.
